The Jaltest JDC545A is the diagnostic cable for the 14-pin connector on Doosan earthmoving equipment; it adapts that connection to the 16-pin OBD2 port on your Jaltest diagnostic device. The machine end features the 14-pin connector, while the interface end has the 16-pin OBD2 plug. The connector location varies by model: behind the seat, on the engine, or at the rear of the engine.
Once connected, the Jaltest software accesses E-EPOS, the central engine control unit that manages the interaction between engine and hydraulics, the engine controllers EMS XPI and DL06/DL08, and the aftertreatment controllers EEC and EEC3. The difference lies in coverage depth: maintenance data is available through the engine and aftertreatment controllers but not E-EPOS, and additional functions only through the EMS XPI engine controller. This cable falls under Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway machines).

Through this connection, you access the machine's control units using Jaltest software. Which systems are available varies by series and version.
Control units you can access
- E-EPOS, Body computer: The main machine computer, with fault codes, measured values, and ECU data.
- EMS XPI, Extra-high Pressure Injection, Common Rail: The common-rail engine control with extremely high injection pressure, including additional functions.
- DL06/DL08, CAN (Tier 4 / Stage IV), Engine Control Module: The engine control unit for Tier 4 and Stage IV versions.
- EEC, SCR AdBlue, Exhaust gas treatment system: The SCR aftertreatment control unit.
- EEC3, Exhaust gas treatment system: The newer generation aftertreatment control unit.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit, with descriptions of detected faults.
- View measured values: Real-time sensor readings connected to the control unit, displayed as numbers and graphs.
- Access maintenance data: Available for engine and aftertreatment control units; not available for E-EPOS.
- Perform additional functions: Available with the EMS XPI engine control unit.
