The Jaltest JDC632.9 is the adapter connecting the 6-pin diagnostic connector of small Mercury and Tohatsu outboard engines to the 26-pin DB26-port on the Jaltest Link. This version does not terminate in OBD2: the DB26 connector connects directly to the SubD-26 input on the Link, without an OBD2 intermediate cable. On the engine side, the 6-pin connector is located under the engine cover.
The cable opens the diagnostic line to the engine control unit of these outboard motors: ECM by Tohatsu under Mercury model names and ECM (Engine Control Module) under Tohatsu model names — the same control unit with identical functionality. This allows diagnostic equipment to read fault codes and live data, control components, and monitor values while the engine runs; parameter configuration, calibration, and maintenance reset are not supported on this engine control unit. Jaltest supplies the cable for models in the 10-20 hp power class. The cable falls under Jaltest Marine.
