The Jaltest JDC570A is the diagnostic cable that connects the 19-pin connector of Deutz engines to the Jaltest Link. On the engine side, you'll find the 19-pin connector, while on the interface side, the cable connects to the 16-pin OBD2 of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. The connector is part of the engine and is located on or next to the engine block; Deutz also uses a different diagnostic connector, for which Cojali stocks the JDC504A cable.
This cable carries the engine's communication lines through to the Jaltest Link, establishing direct communication with the engine control unit. This gives your diagnostic equipment access to the EMR2 (EDC), the EMR4 (EDC 17 CV52 and CV54) and the EMR5 (EDC MD1 CC878). The coverage difference lies in maintenance: with the EMR4 and EMR5, maintenance intervals are included in the coverage table, while the EMR2 is limited to fault codes, live data and ECU information. Deutz supplies its engines as standalone powerplants for machinery, generator sets and equipment, and Jaltest lists them under stationary engines. The cable falls under Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway equipment).

Through this connection, you can access the engine control unit of your Deutz engine using Jaltest software.
Control units you can access
- EMR2 — EDC, Engine Control Module: The older Deutz engine management system, found on the 2013 series among others. Fault codes, live data, and ECU information, without maintenance functions.
- EMR4 — EDC 17 CV52 and EDC 17 CV54, common rail: The engine control system for the TCD and D series, including maintenance; some versions also support additional functions.
- EMR5 — EDC MD1 CC878, common rail: The latest generation in our coverage, with fault codes, live data, ECU information, and maintenance.
What you can do
- Read fault codes: Access the fault memory of the engine control unit with detailed descriptions of detected faults.
- View live data: Monitor real-time sensor values from the control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds.
- Access maintenance information: View maintenance intervals and required service tasks — available on EMR4 and EMR5, not on EMR2.
- Perform additional functions: Only on EMR4 versions where the coverage table indicates support.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector on the engine is what matters, not the machine brand. Deutz engines are installed as standalone powerplants; this cable works with any Deutz engine equipped with the 19-pin diagnostic connector. The engine series listed below are covered by Jaltest OHW; check which connector is fitted to your engine on-site.

- 2012 and 2013 series: BF4M 2012, BF6M 2012C, BF4M 2013, BF6M 2013, BFM 2013 and TCD 2012 L04/L06 and TCD 2013 L04/L06

- D-, TD- and G-series: D 2.9, TD 2.2, TD 2.9, TD 3.6, G 2.2 and G 2.9
