The Jaltest JDC309A is the diagnostic cable for the 9-pin MCP connector on ZF EcoLife bus automatic transmissions; the cable connects that port to the 16-pin OBD2 input on Jaltest diagnostic equipment. The 9-pin MCP connector is part of the transmission control unit itself and is not located at the vehicle's OBD port. EcoLife is the successor to the Ecomat family and features its own dedicated connector; Cojali therefore lists the cable as ZF EcoLife MCP, 9 pins.
This connection gives diagnostic equipment direct access to the EcoLife transmission control unit, even when the gearbox is not accessible through vehicle diagnostics. Jaltest covers this unit as EcoLife, Automatic gearbox, within the ZF Transmissions coverage group. This system focuses on reading and monitoring: fault codes, live data, ECU information and real-time data monitoring. Because the control unit is what matters—not the bus manufacturer—the cable works on any bus brand. The cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).

Actuating components, parameters, calibration and reset are not included in the EcoLife coverage table.
