The Jaltest (71501001) | CV (Commercial Vehicles) software upgrade makes it possible to expand an existing Jaltest Link V9 interface with the CV module. This upgrade is one-time and links the module permanently to the interface. After activation, the CV module remains visible in the software and is not transferable to another interface. The upgrade itself does not directly provide usage options but forms the basis to add the CV module to your existing Jaltest configuration.
To keep the software operational and actually use it, a valid software license is required. This license provides access to software updates, the latest vehicle coverage, extra features, and technical support. Without a valid license, the CV module remains visible in the software but cannot be used for diagnostic or maintenance functions. License activation usually takes 24 to 48 hours and occurs automatically after ordering.
Applications and functionalities:
With the Jaltest CV (Commercial Vehicles) module, combined with a valid license, the user has extensive diagnostic and maintenance functions for commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, and trailers.
- Read and clear fault codes: reading and deleting DTCs in electronic systems such as engine, transmission, ABS, and EBS.
- Live data and parameters: real-time reading and analyzing of sensor data and system status.
- Actuator tests: performing component and system tests to check and verify functions.
- Maintenance resets and calibrations: performing service resets and calibrations for systems such as brakes, transmission, and steering angle sensors.
- Technical information: access to diagrams, manuals, maintenance information, and reports.

Note: to use the software, a software license is also required (sold separately).
License information:
For activation of the Jaltest CV software module, the serial number (SN) of the Jaltest Link V9 interface is necessary. This number must be provided in the comments field when ordering.
- Jaltest Link (interface): sticker with “SN:” on the back or underside of the unit.
- Jaltest software: via Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information.
- Packaging box: sticker with serial number on the original product packaging.
