The Jaltest 293600 is the software licence for Jaltest Modular LCV, the modular diagnostic solution for light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. With Modular, you purchase the software and first year of use in one: you acquire the module once and use it immediately for twelve months.
This licence alone will not enable diagnostics. You will also need the Jaltest Link and, where applicable, an adaptor cable for each manufacturer or system. With Modular, you purchase diagnostic coverage by vehicle type rather than for the entire segment. From year two onwards, you renew using the update licence (29051600).

Applications and functionality
Jaltest Modular LCV is the module for light commercial vehicles within the modular system. This licence unlocks that module. What you do with it subsequently depends on the vehicle and the cable you use.
What you can do with it
- System scan: View all control units present and see where faults are logged.
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory per control unit, with fault descriptions.
- Measured values and live data: Request sensor readings and monitor them in real-time.
- Component control: Activate actuators selectively to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring to it.
- Parameters and calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system.
- Maintenance resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The module covers the electronic systems of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes: Vans, pick-ups and light commercial vehicles.
- Electronic systems: The control units that Jaltest supports within Modular LCV.
- Iveco Daily with Security Gateway: For this, you additionally require the Iveco SGW activations (70607002 and 70607003).
- Navigation by system manufacturer: Available with the Manufacturer Module (29469), in combination with Modular Truck or Bus.
What falls outside this licence
Modular works by vehicle type. If you also work on other vehicles, you add the corresponding licence.

What you need
To diagnose with Jaltest Modular LCV, you require more than this product. The complete setup is listed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
- Software licence (293600): This product. The module with first year of use included.
- Update licence (29051600): Twelve months renewal, from the second year onwards.
- Adapter cables, only if required: Light commercial vehicles have a 16-pin diagnostic connector; depending on the make or system, an adapter may be necessary.
Optional add-ons
- INFO Plus for Modular LCV (70605043): Wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures. Each modular licence has its own INFO Plus.
- Manufacturer Module (29469): Select by system manufacturer instead of vehicle make. You select, for example, Wabco and then the system, such as brakes, air suspension, TPMS or safety systems. This is useful for conversions and custom builds and for vehicles not in the model catalogue. The module supports thirty-eight system manufacturers.

How does it work in practice?
From order to working module there are four steps. The serial number of your Jaltest Link is all you need to find yourself.
- Provide the serial number: Include the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the notes field when you place your order; this is required.
- We activate: We link the licence to that serial number, usually within one working day of your order.
- Confirmation by email: You will hear from us as soon as the module is on your serial number.
- Update software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and retrieve the module; Modular LCV then appears in the start menu.
