The Jaltest 71502007 is the software activation for the Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics Add-on, Knorr-Bremse's proprietary diagnostic software integrated into Jaltest Diagnostics. It lets you diagnose Knorr-Bremse systems in trucks and trailers according to Knorr-Bremse's original specifications. We link the activation to your Jaltest Link serial number and activate it within one business day after you order.
With this activation alone, you cannot yet diagnose systems. Here's the key point: you need a valid CV or Modular license because the add-on operates within that diagnostic environment. You'll also need the Jaltest Link. From year two onwards, you keep the module active with the update license (71602007). Unlike other modules, Knorr-Bremse's original technical documentation is included here. The module becomes locked once this license or the underlying CV or Modular license expires.

The Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics Add-on brings Knorr-Bremse diagnostic software into Jaltest Diagnostics. This activation unlocks the add-on; what you do with it next depends on the vehicle and cable you use.
What the add-on covers

- Knorr-Bremse systems in trailers: ABS and EBS control systems on trailers and semi-trailers.
- Original Knorr-Bremse technical documentation: This documentation is included with the add-on.
- Integration into Jaltest Diagnostics: The add-on runs within your existing Jaltest environment.
What you can do
- System scan: Identify installed Knorr-Bremse control units and view fault locations.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access fault memory per control unit with fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor values and monitor them in real time.
- Activate components: Selectively activate brake modulators, sensors and actuators.
- Parameters and calibrations: Save settings and perform calibration procedures for each system.
- Maintenance procedures: The service and maintenance steps prescribed by Knorr-Bremse for each system.
What you'll need
This add-on works only with an active Jaltest diagnostic license. Here's the complete breakdown.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to run the software on a PC.
- Valid CV or Modular license: The underlying diagnostic license. The add-on won't work without it.
- Software activation (71502007): This product.
- Update license (71602007): From year two onwards, for continued access and new software versions.
- Knorr-Bremse cables: JDC103A for Wabco and Knorr-Bremse, JDC111A for KB4-TA trailer ABS, JDC220A for KB EBS 5 and JDC305A for KB ABS6, ABS24 and EU12. Available separately.
You'll obtain the underlying license as Jaltest CV (29303) or as one of the Modular licenses for truck, bus, trailer or light commercial vehicles. These licenses are purchased separately.
