\nThe Jaltest 71602011 is the update license for Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics in the independent operation, the diagnostic module for Knorr-Bremse brake systems. Use this to extend your current license with twelve months, for those who need the module already in use has. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.\n
\nWith the renewal, you keep twelve months access to the new software versions, with the Knorr-Bremse systems and features that are added that year. If you don't renew, your module locked: You won't be able to run diagnostics with it anymore until you purchase the renewal. This version is standalone and requires a Jaltest hardware kit; no separate software license is included. If you don't yet have the module, you'll start with the software activation (71502008).\n

Applications and Features
Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics is the module for Knorr-Bremse braking systems. This update license keeps that module active in standalone mode; what you do with it next depends on the vehicle and the cable you use.
What the Knorr-Bremse module covers
- Trucks:Knorr-Bremse braking systems, in accordance with Knorr-Bremse's own specifications.
- Trailers:The ABS and EBS control systems by Knorr-Bremse for trailers and semi-trailers.
- Cable connections: JDC103A (Wabco and Knorr-Bremse), JDC111A (KB4-TA Trailer ABS), JDC220A (KB EBS 5) and JDC305A (KB ABS6, ABS24 and EU12).
- Languages:English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, French, Polish, Turkish, Czech, Dutch and Hungarian.
- Outside the module:The general vehicle coverage of Jaltest CV and Modular is not included here.
What you can do
- System scan:Monitor the connected Knorr-Bremse control units and identify where faults are occurring.
- Read and clear fault codes:Read the fault memory per control unit, with a description of the malfunction.
- Measured values and live data:Monitor sensor readings and track them in real-time while the engine is running or the vehicle is in motion.
- Component control: Selectively activate ABS and EBS modules to determine whether a fault originates in the component itself or in the wiring leading to it.
- Parameters and calibrations: Save settings and perform the calibration procedures that the module offers for each system.
What you'll need
This update license is the renewal within a fixed chain. The complete setup is outlined below.
- Jaltest hardware kit with Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also necessary to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (71502008): Purchased once, remains valid indefinitely.
- Update license (71602011): This product. Twelve months of renewal, from year two onwards.
- Diagnostic cables: Per system, for example JDC103A, JDC111A, JDC220A or JDC305A. Cables are not included.
If you want to use Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics alongside Jaltest diagnostics, you can do so via the Add-on version (71502007) with the corresponding update license (71602007); switching from this standalone version requires a product change. The add-on is purchased separately.
