The Jaltest 74602011 is the update license for Jaltest Marine Gasoline Engines, the diagnostic module for gasoline marine engines. With this, you extend your current license by twelve months if you already have the module in use. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
With the renewal, you maintain twelve months of access to new software versions, including the engines, systems, and features added that year. If you don't renew, the diagnostics will continue to work on the last installed version: You won't lose your equipment, but you'll receive no new coverage anymore. If you don't yet have the module, you'll start with the software activation (74502011) and the first-year software license (74502016); this update license continues from the second year onward.

Applications and Features
Jaltest Marine Gasoline Engines is one of six marine variants. This update license keeps that variant active; what you can do with it depends on the engine and cable you're using.
What the Gasoline Module Covers
- Gasoline marine engines: Engine management systems for gasoline engines onboard.
- Stationary marine gasoline engines: Engine controls for permanently installed gasoline engines, accessed via the stationary engine cable set (70002006).
- Diesel engines and vessels: Not covered by this module; for those you'll need the broader Marine Vessel activation (74502002).
What You Can Do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify any fault codes.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access fault memory per control unit with detailed fault descriptions.
- Live data and sensor readings: Request sensor values and monitor them in real-time while running.
- Component activation: Manually trigger sensors and actuators to determine if a fault is in the component itself or in the wiring.
- Parameters and calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system, for example after replacing a component.
- Maintenance resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't work.
What you'll need
This update license is the renewal within a fixed package. Here's the complete breakdown.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to launch the software on a PC.
- Software activation (74502011): Purchased once, remains valid.
- Software license first year (74502016): The first year annual license.
- Update license (74602011): This product. Twelve months renewal, from the second year onwards.
- Diagnostic cables: The cable set for stationary engines (70002006) with JDC217.9, JDC505A (CAT/Perkins), JDC528A (Volvo Penta 8-pin) and JDC538A (Yanmar), or individual cables per brand.
If you also work on diesel engines, there's the broader activation Marine Vessel (74502002) for vessels. If you want all six variants, get Marine Complete (74502001) in one go. For wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures, there's INFO Plus. Those modules are purchased separately.
