The Autel PSA 2-pin to 16-pin OBD2 Adapter is a Adapter cable designed to connect older vehicles from the PSA group (Peugeot, Citroën) to modern diagnostic equipment. The Adapter converts the vehicle's specific 2-pin OBD1 diagnostic connector to a standardized 16-pin OBD2 connector (J1962F), enabling communication with the electronic control units (ECUs).
With this Adapter, functions such as reading and clearing error codes, viewing live data, and performing other diagnostic actions can be applied to models not yet equipped with the standard OBD2 port. The cable is developed for use with Autel diagnostic equipment, but can also work with other scanners supporting the protocols of these older vehicles.
Application and functionality:
This Adapter is intended to enable diagnosis on older PSA vehicles with a 2-pin connector.
- Diagnosis on OBD1 vehicles: Enables connecting modern OBD2 scanners to the OBD1 diagnostic port of older Citroën and Peugeot models.
