The Autel MaxiCheck MX808TS update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MX808TS by one year. This is the predecessor of the MX808S-TS; it activates virtually all known sensors, programmes MX sensors and shows the learning procedure on the screen. The MX808TS is a diagnostic reader with built-in TPMS service and a wireless connection to the vehicle, and for that kind of work what matters most is whether the device already knows the vehicle of today. An active licence is what makes that difference.

An extension supplements the sensor database and the vehicle coverage, insofar as the manufacturer still releases new versions for this generation. To get that started we only need the serial number of your MX808TS; we link the licence to it, and this is usually arranged within one working day. Afterwards the MX808TS continues to run on the last installed version.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The updates concern the diagnostic software and not the operating system; this is a device of an older generation, and a licence does not change that.
✕Downloading requires a stable Wi-Fi connection; on a busy guest network a large update can take a long time.

How does it work in practice?
