The Jaltest software upgrade with article number 71501001 is an activation license that adds the CV (Commercial Vehicles) module to a Jaltest diagnostic device that already has another active base license. This upgrade makes it possible to expand the software with additional modules at a reduced price. The activation license for the upgrade remains permanently active after purchase.

After ordering, the license will be activated within 24–48 hours on the provided serial number. This software upgrade activates the CV module on the device. To actually use diagnostic functions, a separate, valid software license for the CV module is required after this activation. Without an active software license, the module is installed but not functional.

Note: The software activation is the first step to activate the Jaltest diagnostic device. However, for full use of the system, a valid software license is also required. Without this license, the module cannot function fully.

Serial number information:

For the activation of the software, the serial number of your Jaltest diagnostic device is required. Please provide this number (9 characters) in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:

Device: The serial number is on the back of the Jaltest Link V9 interface.
Settings menu: The number is also visible in the settings menu of the Jaltest software.
Packaging box: The serial number is also listed on the original packaging box of the diagnostic device.
