The OTOFIX D1 Pro S2 update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the D1 Pro S2 by one year. With the D1 Pro S2 you diagnose faults on all vehicle systems. You read codes and ECU data, view live data and control components. The device also carries out everyday service functions, from the parking brake to the rain and light sensor. You store reports in the cloud and consult diagnostic cases there.
The extension is linked to the serial number of the device. We pass that number on to OTOFIX and the new period is usually ready within one working day. Each update during that year expands coverage and adapts the procedures to changes made by manufacturers. Afterwards, you keep everything that is already installed, but new versions will no longer be added.

How does it work in practice?
After your order you will be updated in four steps. The only thing we need from you is the serial number.
- Pass on the serial number: Provide the serial number of the D1 Pro S2 when ordering.
- Activation: We assign the new period to that serial number via OTOFIX, usually within one working day.
- Prepare the device: Charge the D1 Pro S2 and connect it to a reliable Wi-Fi network.
- Install updates: Go to the update menu, select everything that is ready and let the installation complete.
