The OBDSTAR M002B is a power cable that connects the MV Agusta 2-pin OBD diagnostic plug to the motorcycle's battery clamps. The cable supplies the necessary power to OBDSTAR readers and programmers when the motorcycle's diagnostic port does not provide sufficient current during diagnostic use. The cable consists of a red and black power conductor with battery clamps (positive and negative) on one end and a 2-pin plug fitting the MV Agusta diagnostic connection on the other.
The M002B acts as a direct power bridge between the vehicle battery and the diagnostic device. Through the battery clamps, the motorcycle's battery voltage is directly passed to the 2-pin OBD connector, ensuring the connected OBDSTAR device is stably powered during the diagnostic session. This prevents voltage drops or communication errors that can occur when the system relies solely on the motorcycle's OBD port. The cable is specifically designed for use with MV Agusta motorcycles whose diagnostic port has a 2-pin connection.
