The OBDSTAR M002D is a power cable with battery clamps that serves as an accessory for OBDSTAR diagnostic and key programming equipment. The cable is 6 meters long and comes with red (positive) and black (negative) alligator clips for direct connection to the vehicle’s 12V battery. The integrated fuse holder protects the connected device against overcurrent and short circuits.

The power cable connects to the battery terminals and supplies the required voltage to the host device via the DC connector. The generous cable length allows the diagnostic device to be used remotely from the battery, for example during work on the workbench for key programming or module programming outside the vehicle. The fuse in the line is replaceable if blown.

Good to know: Always connect the red clamp to the positive terminal first, then the black clamp to the negative terminal to reduce sparking. Check before use that the fuse in the holder is intact — a blown fuse is a common cause when the device does not power on via this cable.
