The OBDSTAR M002A is a mass cable with battery clamp on one side and a connection on the Ground inputfrom your OBDSTAR device to the other. The clamp connects to the negative terminal of the battery or to a suitable earth point on the vehicle.
The cable is designed to establish a stable ground reference during diagnostic and programming work. By bringing the device and vehicle to the same zero potential, voltage fluctuations and signal interference during read and write operations are minimised. The M002AThe M002A is a supplementary accessory, not a power source or data connection: it provides earthing only. Which procedures you can perform depends on the software of your own device.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The GND input of your device is what matters, not the vehicle model. The source lists no makes or model years: the clamp connects to the negative terminal or a ground point and is therefore make-independent.
- Vehicles with 12V battery or suitable ground point: That is where the clamp is attached.
- OBDSTAR equipment with GND input: The device-side connector fits only that connection.
