The OBDSTAR M030 connects the 6-pin Hartford diagnostic connector to a standard 16-pin OBD2 socket (J1962). The 6-pin side attaches to the motorcycle's diagnostic connector, whilst the other end connects to your OBDSTAR diagnostic device.
Hartford uses a proprietary 6-pin diagnostic connector on its motorcycles. This cable physically adapts that connector to the OBD2 interface recognised by OBDSTAR equipment; diagnostic protocols such as K-line are passed through unchanged. There is no onboard electronics and no active signal conversion takes place. The cable functions as a passive signal connection between the diagnostic port and the device. Which Hartford models and functions are supported depends on the capabilities of your own equipment.
