The OBDSTAR M030 connects the 6-pin Hartford diagnostic connector to a standard 16-pin OBD2 port (J1962). The 6-pin side plugs into your motorcycle's diagnostic socket, while the other end connects to your OBDSTAR scan tool.
Hartford equips its motorcycles with a proprietary 6-pin diagnostic connector. This cable physically adapts that connector to the OBD2 interface that OBDSTAR devices recognize; diagnostic protocols such as K-line are passed through without modification. There is no onboard electronics and no active signal conversion takes place.
The cable functions as a passive signal bridge between the diagnostic port and your scan tool. Which Hartford models and features are supported depends entirely on your device's capabilities.
