The OBDSTAR ECU Master software license for configuration C is a digital software license that unlocks heavy-duty vehicle, agricultural, and off-road equipment configuration on an ECU Master device you already own. Activation and the first year of software updates are included together.
For heavy-duty workshops and agricultural equipment services
This license targets the heavy-duty segment: tractors, trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, and off-road equipment. While passenger vehicles are identified by type numbers, OBDSTAR lists controllers by name here, down to MR and MCM2 variants. Note that coverage varies significantly by module group: engine management is comprehensive, while transmission and body control coverage is considerably narrower.

- Mercedes-Benz: PLD MR-A2 through MR-A8, ACM2, ADM2, ADM3, and the MCM2 series.
- MAN, Scania, and Volvo: FFR, PTM, EDC7C3, EMS S6 through S8, and EMS2.2 through 2.4.
- Transmission controllers GS3.0, GS3.3, and GS3.6.
- Agriculture and off-road: John Deere, Claas, Fendt, New Holland, Caterpillar, Kubota, and Yanmar.
Compatible devices
This license works exclusively on the OBDSTAR ECU Master and is activated to the serial number of that single device. It cannot be transferred to another device and does not work on other OBDSTAR equipment such as the X300 series, MS series, or DC706. If you have multiple ECU Masters in your workshop, each device requires its own license.

💡 Good to know: Keep the serial number of your OBDSTAR ECU Master handy when ordering. Without that number, we cannot activate the license. You'll find the serial number on the sticker at the bottom of the device and in the software under device information.
