\nThe Jaltest 293101 is the software activation of Jaltest Truck Select, the modular truck diagnostic solution where you per truck brand a license instead of the entire CV segment. You select the brand via the product option selection on this page; each brand has its own reference number, ranging from 293101 to 293168. The first license year is included; from the second year onwards you extend with the update license per brand (29051101 through 29051168), a separate product. We link the activation to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.\n

\nThe most important thing to know upfront: Jaltest requires a minimum purchase of two brands for. With a single brand you can not yet diagnosed; you're ordering at least two variants, or you're combining one brand with another modular license such as Trailer, Bus, LCV, AGV, OHW or MHE. Additionally, you have the Jaltest Link required, the diagnostic interface that the software runs on. If you want to add wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures, then for each brand you'll need the INFO Plus for Truck Select (70605015) for each brand that appears on your equipment.\n

IMPORTANT NOTES

✕Minimum purchase of two brands required. One brand alone is not sufficient; you must order two variants or combine this brand with another modular license, such as Trailer, Bus, LCV, AGV, OHW or MHE.
✕The software will be blocked at the end of the license year. Unlike the CV license, the last installed version will not continue to work; renewal is done using the update license (29051101 through 29051168).
✕The Jaltest Link is mandatory and the software requires registration every six months, even if your license is still active. If registration is not completed, the software will be blocked.
✕Please provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link and the selected brands in the order notes field; without this information, we cannot activate your license.

Applications and Features

Truck Select is Jaltest CV, but limited to the brands you choose. Within a selected brand, you have access to full diagnostic functionality; brands you have not activated are not available.

  • Brand selection via variants: Each variant represents one brand and has its own reference number, from 293101 through 293168.
  • Minimum of two brands: If you need two brands, order two variants; if you need more, order accordingly.
  • Combining is allowed: The minimum purchase applies even when combining with Trailer, Bus, LCV, AGV, OHW and MHE.
  • Expand per brand: The INFO Plus for Truck Select (70605015) must be purchased for each brand on your equipment.

What You Can Do

  • Read and clear fault codes:Read the fault memory per control unit, with a description of the fault.
  • Measurement values and live data:Monitor sensor readings and track them in real-time while the engine is running or driving.

  • Parameters and calibrations:Save settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers for each system.
  • Maintenance Resets:Reset service and maintenance intervals.
  • Software versions throughout the license year:New versions and expanded model years for the brands you've selected.
  • Expert Mode:Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't work.

What you'll need

Jaltest requires a fixed configuration setup to diagnose with Truck Select. This activation is just one part of it; the complete chain is listed below.

  • Jaltest Link:The diagnostic interface. Required to run the software on a PC.
  • Software activation by brand (293101 through 293168):This product. Minimum two brands, or one brand alongside another modular license.
  • Update license per brand (29051101 through 29051168):From the second year onwards, for continued access and new software versions.
  • Diagnostic cables:Per brand or system, sold individually or as a cable kit.
  • Serial number of your Jaltest Link:We'll activate it on that number within one business day.

Optionally expand with INFO Plus for Truck Select (70605015) for wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures; you'll get this for every brand on your equipment. The other modular licenses as well — Trailer, Bus, LCV, AGV, OHW and MHE — are purchased separately and count toward the minimum order quantity.

Good to know: When your license expires, the software becomes blocked — with Truck Select, the last installed version won't function. If you renew within fifteen days after the expiration date, the new period continues from that expiration date; after that, it begins on the renewal date. Please specify the serial number of your Jaltest Link and your selected brands in the order notes field.
