The Jaltest JDC564.9 is the diagnostic cable for the 8-pin diagnostic connector of the Zapi power modules in electric forklifts and material handling equipment; the cable routes that connector to the 26-pin DB26 port on the Jaltest diagnostic system. On the machine side, you'll find the 8-pin connector from the Zapi controller, typically located in the electrical compartment; on the interface side, the DB26 plug connects directly to the Jaltest Link without requiring a 16-pin adapter cable.
With this connection, the Jaltest diagnostic tool reads the power electronics that control the drive and lift motors. Jaltest covers these controllers under Power Module Inverter, with versions TPM, TPMM and TPMS — some via CAN, some via RS232. All versions display fault codes, live data and parameters; only the RS232 version adds real-time data monitoring. This cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory of the power module and clear it after repair.
- View measured values: The current values of the controller's sensors and inputs.
- Configure parameters: Read and adjust the controller's configuration.
- Live data monitoring: For Zapi TPM (RS232), Jaltest also displays system values during operation.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The controller determines compatibility, not the machine brand. This cable is for Zapi power modules with the 8-pin connector in electrically powered material handling equipment; check on-site which connector your controller has.
