The Jaltest JDC554A is the adapter cable that connects the small 4-pin diagnostic connector on Linde warehouse trucks, stackers and pallet jacks to a standard 16-pin OBD2-interface. On the vehicle side sits the 4-pin connector, on the interface side the 16-pin OBD2 connection of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. This connector is located under the truck hood and is noticeably smaller than the round 7-pin plug found on Linde forklifts.
Behind this single connector lie the control units of the lighter warehouse equipment: The power module LAC, the heart of the electric drive and lift system, and on the stackers alongside it the display LID. Both provide access to fault codes, measured values, ECU data and maintenance information; there is no extensive CAN network like on the forklifts. The cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Applications and functionality
Through this connection, you access the truck's control units with Jaltest software. Which systems are available varies by series.
Control units you can access
- LAC, Power module: The power module for electric drive and lift functions, with fault codes, measured values, ECU data and maintenance information.
- LID, Instrument cluster: The stacker display, with the same functions.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit, with descriptions of detected faults.
- View measured values: The current sensor readings connected to the control unit, displayed as numbers and graphs.
- Check maintenance data: The service intervals and completed maintenance on the machine, with a service report.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model. This cable fits any Linde warehouse truck, stacker or pallet truck with the small 4-pin diagnostic connector. Jaltest MHE covers the series listed below; check under your truck's hood to confirm which connector you have.
