The Jaltest JDC541A is the adapter cable connecting the 16-pin diagnostic port on Hidromek earthmoving equipment to the 16-pin OBD2 connector of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the vehicle side, it features the manufacturer-specific 16-pin connector, which is not interchangeable with a standard car OBD2 plug; on the interface side, it has the 16-pin OBD2 input for the Jaltest Link.

Behind this single connection lies the control electronics of the Isuzu powertrain: The common-rail engine control unit 4HK1/4JJ1, available in both CAN and K-Line versions, and on machines equipped with SCR, the AdBlue/DEF aftertreatment system. With the CAN version of the engine control unit, additional functions are available; with the K-Line version, they are not. Especially for AdBlue faults and power complaints, that's the access point you need. This cable falls under Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway machines).

  • 4HK1 (K Line) Isuzu, Electronic Diesel Control, Common Rail: The same engine family via K-Line communication.
  • AdBlue/DEF Isuzu, Exhaust gas treatment system: Exhaust aftertreatment control on machines equipped with SCR.

  • Read and clear fault codes: Access the control unit's fault memory with detailed descriptions of detected faults.
  • View live data: Real-time sensor readings connected to the control unit, displayed as values and graphs.
  • Check service records: View maintenance intervals and completed service work on the machine, with a service report.
