The Jaltest JDC102A is the adapter cable that connects the 4-pin diagnostic connector of the Haldex MODULAR/PLC trailer ABS system to a standard 16-pin OBD2-interface. On the system side, you'll find the 4-pin connector, which plugs into the Modular control unit mounted on the chassis; on the interface side sits the 16-pin OBD2 that connects to your Jaltest diagnostic cable. The cable is system-specific but brand-independent: it works on any trailer or semi-trailer equipped with a Haldex MODULAR control unit.
This cable routes the communication lines through to the Jaltest Link, enabling direct communication with the trailer's brake control system. This gives your diagnostic equipment full access to the antilock braking system MODULAR/PLC, which is completely read out within Jaltest coverage: fault codes, live data, ECU information and maintenance records. Since trailers have never been required to use a standardized diagnostic connector, this plug remains compatible with newer semi-trailers. The cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
