The Jaltest JDC211A is the adapter cable that connects the 6-pin Deutsch diagnostic connector on commercial and work vehicles to a 9-pin J1939 connector, where you plug in the Jaltest 9-pin diagnostic cable. The 6-pin Deutsch connector is typically located in the cab near the dashboard; it's the older diagnostic connector following the SAE J1708/J1587 standard, used on heavy-duty vehicles and machinery before the transition to the 9-pin J1939 connector. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the cable is 28-30 cm long and compatible with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9.
The cable opens the diagnostic line to the control units that the manufacturer has connected to that 6-pin connector, such as engine and transmission control.
