The Jaltest JDC566.9 is the diagnostic cable for Curtis power modules in electric-powered material handling equipment; it connects the 4-pin diagnostic connector of the Curtis controller to the 26-pin DB26 port on the Jaltest Link. The 4-pin connector is part of the controller itself and is typically located in the machine's electrical compartment; on the interface side, the DB26 plug connects directly into the Link without requiring a 16-pin intermediate cable.
Once connected, Jaltest software can access the motor controller that manages drive and lift motors in forklifts, warehouse trucks and aerial work platforms. Jaltest lists these controllers in MHE coverage as Power module (CPM), organized by series, from the 1212 through the 1243. For series 1212, 1232 and 1236, the coverage includes fault codes, live data values and parameter configuration; the 1243 series has a different feature set. This cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
