The Jaltest JDCOBD5 is the adapter that connects a 16-pin diagnostic connector with non-standard pin configuration to the Jaltest Link. This version remaps the connection from pin 1 to pin 15, for vehicles where the K-line is connected to a different pin than the OBD2 standard specifies. You insert it between the vehicle's diagnostic connector and the standard 16-pin OBD2 cable of the Jaltest Link.
Behind this single connection lie the systems that would remain inaccessible without the adapter, because the signals aren't on the expected pins. Once it's in place, Jaltest software gives you access to the vehicle's complete diagnostics: read and clear fault codes, view live data, control actuators, and — depending on the system and coverage — perform maintenance and calibration procedures. Which control units appear depends on your active license and installed software version. The adapter is used within Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
