The Iveco Euro 6 DTC Eraser is a compact and immediately deployable DTC remover for Trucks. This plug-and-play tool is specifically designed for fault technicians and drivers to quickly clear stored fault codes from memory on the road or in the workshop. It is especially designed for situations where the vehicle detects a fault related to emissions or engine management, allowing the trip to continue safely to a secure location or service point.
When the module is connected to the OBD diagnostic port, it immediately initiates a CAN communication cycle with the available vehicle networks. The device accesses critical systems such as the VCM (Vehicle Control Module) and the EDC17CV41 engine control unit to clear the fault history (Stored codes). This makes it possible to cancel an active limpmode caused, for example, by a temporary NOx or AdBlue fault, thereby deactivating speed and power restrictions. Permanent hardware defects are, of course, re-registered by the ECU after an internal self-test until the physical repair is performed.

This tool offers targeted solutions for fieldwork to reduce downtime and quickly perform basic reset operations via the standard diagnostic connector.
- Clear fault codes (DTC Erasing): Removes active and historical fault codes (as far as temporarily erasable) from all supported control units such as engine, brakes, and gearbox.
- Emission reset: Stored fault messages from the NOx system, SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), and AdBlue supply system are cleared.
- Deactivate limp mode: Provides the ability to lift a power limitation, provided the ECU does not immediately detect the fault as unsolvable after reset, allowing the vehicle to be driven carefully to a workshop.
