The Deutz Euro 6 DTC remover is a diagnostic plug-and-play module designed for fault mechanics and technicians. The device is used for quickly and independently clearing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in vehicles and heavy equipment powered by a Deutz Euro 6 internal combustion engine. It allows users to reset stored error messages on-site, lifting temporary speed or power restrictions and enabling the machine to be safely moved to a workshop for further inspection.

When connected to the OBD port, the module communicates directly with the ECU via the vehicle's CAN network. The device sends specific signals to overwrite and clear the fault memory of the engine management and aftertreatment systems. Historical fault codes are immediately removed from the ECU, resulting in the deactivation of dashboard warnings and the cancellation of an active limp mode. Permanent fault codes caused by a current hardware defect cannot be resolved by this device; the on-board computer will regenerate these codes after a driving cycle until the physical issue is repaired.
