The Scania Euro 6 DTC remover is a specialized fault code eraser designed for professional Truck mechanics and roadside assistance services. This compact diagnostic tool connects directly to the OBD port of the Truck and is specifically developed to erase fault codes (DTCs) from the electronic control units. The device serves as an effective tool to temporarily remove stranded vehicles from limpmode, allowing a Truck to be safely driven to a workshop for diagnosis or repair without active power or speed restrictions.

After connection, the module communicates directly via the CAN-bus network with various ECUs, including engine management, the braking system (EBS), and the aftertreatment systems (AdBlue). The device sends a global erase command to the control units to clear historical and stored fault codes. It is important to know that permanent fault codes, caused by an active hardware fault, immediately return until the underlying defect is physically repaired. The eraser cleans the logs in memory, which immediately normalizes operation after a successful component replacement.
