The Volvo Euro 6 DTC remover is a specialized plug-and-play diagnostic module designed for fault diagnostics and emergencies in trucks. This compact device is primarily intended for diagnostic technicians and mechanics, and is used to quickly and efficiently clear fault codes from the onboard computer memory without the need for heavy test equipment. The tool provides immediate relief when a vehicle experiences dashboard warnings or system lockouts on the road or in the workshop after repairing a sensor or actuator fault.
The module communicates directly through the OBD port with the CAN-bus network of the Truck to connect to all linked ECUs, including engine management (EMS) and braking system (EBS). Once the interface is connected, it processes a clear command to erase historical and temporary stored fault codes. This is an essential function when the vehicle is running in limpmode due to, for example, a NOx or AdBlue-related fault; by clearing these DTCs, a speed or torque limitation can be temporarily lifted so the vehicle can be moved. Permanent fault codes remain stored in the ECU; only after an actual physical repair will the onboard computer release these codes.

- DTC Eraser (Clear fault codes): Removes stored and historical fault codes from the memory of connected control units after a repair or sensor replacement.
- Limp mode reset: Provides the ability to lift temporary power reductions or speed limits caused by the emission system, allowing the vehicle to be moved safely.
- NOx & AdBlue reset: Sends specific clear commands to the exhaust aftertreatment systems to resolve complex fault statuses of the NOx sensor and the AdBlue system.
