The Autel MaxiSys IM update licence extends your right to software updates for the MaxiSys IM by one year. The MaxiSys IM is a key and immobiliser device from Autel's IM range. Its IMMO software comes from the same update series as the IM508 and IM608.
For key work, the immobiliser coverage matters most. Manufacturers regularly update their security, and each update adds procedures and models. Examples include key making, all keys lost and read PIN code. We activate the licence on your serial number, usually within one working day.

What a renewal gives you
- IMMO coverage: New brands, models and model years are added to the immobiliser software.
- Key procedures: Key making, all keys lost, read PIN code and key disabling are expanded per vehicle.

What happens without renewal
- Standstill: New IMMO procedures and vehicles are no longer added to the device.

How does it work in practice?
From order to new software, you go through four steps. Have your serial number ready.
- Providing the serial number: Enter the serial number of your MaxiSys IM when placing your order.
- Activation: We activate the licence on that number, usually within one working day.
- Preparing the device: Connect the device to the charger and ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- Installing updates: Open the update menu, select the available versions and install them.
