How does it work in practice?
Activating your software extension is a simple process. Follow the steps below to update your device:
- Place order: Add the update license to your shopping cart and complete the purchase.
- Provide serial number: Enter the serial number of your Autel device in the remarks field during checkout.
- Automatic processing: The license will be automatically processed and linked to the serial number you provided within 24 hours after ordering.
- Install updates: Ensure your diagnostic device is connected to a stable wifi network. Go to the update menu on the device to download and install the latest software.
Serial number information
The correct serial number of your device is required for activation. This number consists of 12 characters and can be found in the following locations. Make sure to enter this number in the remarks field when placing your order.
- Device: The serial number is listed on the sticker on the back of your Autel MaxiCheck MX900.
- Settings menu: Navigate in the main menu to 'Settings' and then to 'About'. The serial number is displayed digitally here.
- Packaging box: The number can also be found on the original product packaging.
