The Autool PT530 is a digital air pressure tester with a measurement range of −100 to +300 kPa. The PT530 measures positive and negative pressure via two inputs: IN1 for positive pressure and IN2 for negative pressure, including the difference between them. Whilst the entry-level model maxes out at 200 kPa, this one reaches 300 kPa, and it measures with greater precision.
The device reads digitally and holds the highest and lowest values during measurement, along with the difference between them and the measurement duration. Connection is made using the supplied adapters: Seven adapter types. Outer diameters from 4 to 12 mm, plus individual sizes of 6, 8, 9, 16 and 20 mm and a stepped adapter from 8 to 20 mm.

Application and functionality
A pressure tester tells you whether a system achieves the pressure it should. That's the difference between guesswork and measurement. The PT530 operates in the same low-pressure range as the entry-level model, but with a range up to 300 kPa and accuracy of ±0.25% of full scale. With two inputs, you can simultaneously measure not just a single value, but also the pressure drop across a component.
Beyond the measurement itself, this model is designed for working under the bonnet. These features are included:
- Magnet on the back: The unit hangs on any metal surface, leaving both hands free.
- Illuminated keys: Operable even in a dark engine bay.
- Torch on top: To see the connection where you attach the hose.
- Two inputs at once: IN1 for positive pressure, IN2 for negative pressure, with the difference between them.
- Ten units: From kPa and hPa to bar, psi and mmHg.
- Store twenty-nine readings: So you can compare without having to jot everything down.
- Lanyard attachment: So it won't slide off the wing.

Which pressure gauge you need
