The Autel MaxiCom MK906 Pro2-TS is a professional diagnostic scanner with integrated TPMS functionality, designed for fault code reading and system diagnostics on cars. The device runs Android 10 and is powered by a Qualcomm 660 Octa-core processor. It features an 8-inch touchscreen, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Vehicle communication is handled via the MaxiVCI V200 interface, which supports protocols such as DoIP and CAN FD. Key capabilities include OE-level system analysis, ECU coding and bidirectional control. The licence includes 1 year of software updates.

Beyond standard diagnostic functions, the MK906 Pro2-TS offers comprehensive tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) capabilities, including sensor activation, reading and programming. The system supports VAG-guided functions and can generate pre- and post-scan reports, which can be saved to Autel Cloud. The device is expandable with optional modules such as the Autel BT506 battery tester and the MV105S/MV108S inspection cameras.


Diagnostic functions:

The device performs complete OE-level system diagnostics on all available vehicle modules.

  • Read and clear fault codes: Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from all available vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag and body electronics.
  • Live data: Displays real-time data streams from sensors and control units in text, graphical and analogue formats for detailed analysis.
  • Actuator testing (Bidirectional control): Commands components and systems directly to test functionality, such as activating relays, injectors or cooling fans.

Service and maintenance functions:

This device supports more than 45 service and maintenance functions. Available functions may vary by vehicle manufacturer, model and year of manufacture.

Engine and powertrain:

  • Oil service reset: Resets the engine oil service interval after an oil change.
  • Injector coding: Writes new injector codes to the control unit after injector replacement.
  • Throttle body learning: Resets the throttle actuator to factory settings.
  • Transmission adaptation: Adjusts shift points of the automatic transmission for optimum performance.
  • Clutch learning: Performs calibration of a new clutch.
  • Start/Stop system: Configures or disables the automatic start/stop function.
  • Camshaft learning: Calibrates the camshaft position sensor.
  • Relative compression test: Performs a test to analyse compression per cylinder.

  • Electronic parking brake (EPB): Performs service procedures on the electronic parking brake, such as opening and closing brake callipers for maintenance.
  • ABS brake bleeding: Performs the bleeding procedure of the ABS braking system to remove air from the system.

Exhaust systems:

  • Diesel particulate filter regeneration (DPF): Initiates forced regeneration of the diesel particulate filter to clear blockages.
  • Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) adjustment: Performs adaptations or tests on the EGR system.

Steering and suspension:

  • Steering angle sensor (SAS) calibration: Calibrates the steering angle sensor after repair or wheel alignment.
  • Air suspension calibration: Sets the ride height of the air suspension and calibrates level sensors.

Body and electronics:

  • Battery management system (BMS): Registers a new battery in the BMS after replacement.
