The Topdon Phoenix Remote update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the Phoenix Remote with one year. The Phoenix Remote is a ten-inch diagnostic tablet where the manufacturer emphasises remote diagnostics and programming. Between software updates, the device itself remains unchanged, whilst the vehicle fleet arriving at your workshop continues to evolve. In addition to Remote Desk and voice and video connection with a technician, the device performs cloud-based programming, and the manufacturer lists J2534, DoIP and CAN FD as built-in protocols.
A licence renewal keeps the vehicle coverage, the programming files and precisely the remote functions as well, since these rely entirely on the manufacturer's servers. The renewal is processed via a card with a code which you receive by email and enter yourself into the update menu . We need the serial number of your Phoenix Remote for this, so please provide that with your order. Without renewal, the device remains functional on the version currently installed.
