The OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 update licence for configuration A&D extends your right to software updates by one year. The KeyMaster G3 is OBDSTAR's key and immobiliser programmer, where the activated modules determine what the device may do. This extension relates to the combination Immobiliser and keys (A) and Crash Reset (D).
On the G3, each module has its own licence, separate from the other modules. This extension tracks exactly the activated modules of this configuration. The licence is tied to the serial number of your device; we activate it within one working day. If the term expires, the device continues to work on the last installed version, but no new software is added.

How does it work in practice?
From order to updated device, there are four steps. Allow for some download time if you have not updated for a year.
- Serial number: We need the serial number of your KeyMaster G3 to link the licence; it is on the device sticker and in the settings menu.
- Registration with the manufacturer: We register your serial number for the new period, usually within one working day.
- Connecting the device: Switch on the device and connect it to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- Updating the software: Update the software with one click directly from the device.
