OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 | ODO Meter | Software License
The OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 ODO Meter software license is a software activation that adds the functionality for odometer correction to the OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 key programmer. This license expands the capabilities of the base device, enabling it to adjust the odometer reading of various vehicles. This applies, for example, when replacing an instrument panel.
The license activation is automatically processed after ordering and usually takes 24-48 hours. An active license provides access to the latest software updates and online features for the ODO Meter functionality. Without an active update license, it remains possible to use the already installed software versions, but access to new updates and online support expires.
Applications and functionalities:
This software activation adds specific functions for working with odometer readings:
- Odometer correction: Adjusting the odometer reading in the instrument panel and other relevant modules.
- EEPROM/Flash read and write: Direct access to the memory chips (EEPROM/Flash) where the odometer data is stored for reading, saving, and modifying the data.
- Extensive vehicle coverage: Support for a wide range of car makes and models for odometer adjustments.

Serial number information:
For software activation, the serial number of your device is required. You need to enter this number in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number consists of 14 characters.
You can find the serial number in the following locations:
- Device: On the sticker on the back of the OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3.
- Settings menu: In the main menu of the device under 'Settings' or 'About'.
- Packaging box: On the original packaging of the device.
