The Autel MaxiCom MK808 update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MK808 with one year. The MK808 is the wired base model in the MK808 range. Between software updates, the device itself remains unchanged, whilst the vehicle fleet arriving at your workshop continues to evolve. The device reads all vehicle systems and provides a comprehensive set of service functions, from oil service to injector coding, with TPMS limited to sensor programming.
A licence renewal keeps the vehicle coverage and that service functions included; software updates do not alter what the device can do out of the box. The renewal itself is digital and requires nothing from you except the serial number of the MK808; we link the licence to that, typically within one working day. Without renewal, the device remains functional at the most recently installed version, but no new content is added.
What a renewal on the MK808 actually does is easiest to understand by dividing the software into three parts. There is the vehicle coverage, there are the function files and there is the online side. All three advance with an active licence.
This renewal is tied to one device, and that is the unit specified below.
In practice, it's four steps and then wait for the download. We only need the serial number from you.
