OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 | Airbag Reset | Software License
The OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 Airbag Reset software license is a one-time purchase that permanently activates the functionality for resetting airbags on the OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 programmer. With this license, it becomes possible to access and repair airbag control units after an accident, allowing stored crash data to be cleared.
The activation of the license takes 24-48 uur and is automatically applied to the specified serial number after the order. An active internet connection on the KeyMaster G3 programmer is required to synchronize and download the activated software.
Applications and functionalities:
This license adds specific capabilities for working with the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), also known as the airbag system.
- Clear crash data: Removes stored crash data from the airbag control unit (ACU) after a collision, allowing the module to be reused.
- Read and clear fault codes: Reads and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) related to the airbag system, for example after a repair.
- Read ECU information: Displays detailed information from the airbag control unit, such as part numbers and software versions.
- Extensive vehicle coverage: Provides support for a wide range of car makes and models for airbag reset functions.

Serial number information:
For the activation of the software, the serial number of your OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 programmer is required. You must enter this number in the comments field during the ordering process.
The serial number, which usually consists of 14 characters, can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the sticker on the back of the OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3.
- Settings menu: Navigate within the main menu to 'Settings' and then to 'About' to digitally display the serial number.
- Packaging box: On the original packaging of the device.
