The Launch X-431 V update licence extends your right to software updates for the X-431 V for one or two years, depending on the term you select. The device's capabilities are determined by the software, not the hardware. The X-431 V is a diagnostic tablet from the X-431 range for cars. Between updates, the device itself remains unchanged, whilst the vehicle fleet coming through your workshop continues to evolve.
The licence is tied to the serial number of your X-431 V, not to an account or code. We activate it within one working day on your device's serial number. A renewal maintains vehicle coverage and maintenance and reset functions. Once the term expires, nothing changes on what is already on the device, but new software will no longer be added.
