The Jaltest JDC201A is an Adapter Cable that converts an 8-pin OBD1 diagnostic connector to a standard 16-pin OBD2 connector. This cable is specifically designed for communication between modern diagnostic equipment and older commercial vehicles and work vehicles from the Volvo brand that are not yet equipped with a universal OBD2 port.
The Adapter enables a stable connection with the various electronic control units (ECUs) of the vehicle. This allows technicians to perform diagnostics, read fault codes, view live data, and carry out service interventions on systems that require a specific 8-pin connection. The construction is intended for use in a workshop environment.
