The Jaltest JDC122A is the adapter cable for the Bendix SmarTire TPMS with the system's own 12-pin diagnostic connector; on the vehicle side is that connector, on the interface side the 16-pin OBD2 of the Jaltest Link. The connector is located near the TPMS control module, on the main chassis or in the central wiring box of the trailer, and features the pin configuration specific to this module.
With this adapter, your diagnostic equipment connects to the tire pressure monitoring system and thereby to the Bendix SmarTire TPMS Control Unit. This allows you to read tire pressure and sensor temperature for each wheel position, analyze and clear fault codes, adjust warning thresholds in the control unit, and program new or replacement wheel sensors into the trailer network. The cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles), trailer diagnostic component.
