The Jaltest JDC525A is the adapter cable connecting the 14-pin diagnostic connector on tractors from Claas and Renault to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the vehicle side, the 14-pin connector plugs into the diagnostic port in the cab; on the interface side, the 16-pin OBD2 inlet connects to your diagnostic tool. The same Renault/Claas tractor family also comes with a 4+4-pin diagnostic connector; this is the 14-pin version.
The cable opens the diagnostic line to the tractor's control modules. On the most powerful models, the ATLES 9X5-9X6, you'll find the Deutz engine controllers EMR and EMR2 - EDC, the RCC/RCC2 vehicle control unit, the TC transmission, the ELECTROPILOT valve control, and the TCE lifting systems; on the ARES 7X5, coverage is limited to the QUADRISHIFT/TWINSHIFT gearbox and DBD2 instrument cluster. Since agricultural vehicles aren't subject to OBD requirements, this connector remains in use alongside the 4+4-pin version. The cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Through this 14-pin connection, you can access the tractor's control units with Jaltest software. Which units are available varies by series and configuration.

- Engine Management EMR, unit pump system: The engine control with unit pump system on the ATLES series.
- Engine Management EMR2 - EDC, engine control module: The later electronic engine control of the ATLES series.
- Central Computer RCC/RCC2, vehicle control unit: The vehicle control unit of the ATLES.
- Transmission TC: The transmission control of the ATLES series.
- Transmission QUADRISHIFT / TWINSHIFT: The transmission control of the ARES series.
- Transmission EHM 24, TRAX and TRAX (CAN): The transmission controls of the NECTIS series.
- Hydraulics ELECTROPILOT: The control panel for external hydraulic valves.
- Hydraulics TCE 15/25/35, TCE15T and TCE 6: The electronic lifting systems.
- Dashboard OBD2: Access your dashboard to view service intervals.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory from the control unit, including detailed descriptions of any detected faults.
- View live data: Monitor real-time sensor values controlled by the engine control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds.
- Check service intervals: Review upcoming maintenance schedules and required work, with a report for workshop records. Available on this series via the OBD2 dashboard.
