The Jaltest 74502015 is the software license for Jaltest Marine Inboard, the diagnostic module for inboard marine engines. The license runs for twelve months and gives you the right to use the module during that period. You'll need the software activation (74502003) to go with it: You purchase this once and it remains valid indefinitely. We link the license to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
For twelve months, you'll work with the complete Inboard module and receive all new software versions that Jaltest releases during that period, including the vehicles, systems, and features added that year. This is what sets it apart from the activation, which doesn't unlock anything on its own. If you purchase an additional module while this license is active, the new license will be aligned with your existing one: You pay only the remaining days until the expiration date, calculated on a pro-rata basis, so all your modules expire on the same date. After these twelve months, you continue with the update license (74602003).

Applications and Features
This license gives you twelve months of access to Jaltest Marine Inboard, one of six marine variants. What you can do with it depends on your vessel and the cable you use.
What the Inboard module covers
- Inboard marine engines: Engine management and associated propulsion systems onboard.
- Volvo Penta: EGCI engine control, via the OBD-M/Volvo Penta EGCI cable (JDC611A).
- Mercury: SmartCraft G3 systems, via cable JDC617A.
- Suzuki: Inboard connections from the Inboard cable set (70002009).
What you can do
- System scan: Display all control units present and identify any fault codes.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access fault memory per control unit, with fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor readings and monitor them in real-time while running or underway.
- Component Actuation: Activate actuators individually to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring leading to it.
- Parameters and Calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system—for example, after replacing a component.
- Maintenance Resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert Mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't apply.
What You'll Need
Jaltest requires three components to enable diagnostics. This annual license is one of them; the complete setup is detailed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on your PC.
- Software Activation (74502003): One-time purchase, valid indefinitely. The license won't function without this activation.
- Software License First Year (74502015): This product. Twelve months.
- Update License (74602003): From year two onwards, for continuous access and new software versions.
- Diagnostic Cables: The Inboard Cable Set (70002009) with cables for Volvo Penta, Mercury and Suzuki, or individual cables per brand.
If you also service other marine segments, there's the broader Marine Vessel activation (74502002) for vessels; to cover all six variants at once, choose Marine Complete (74502001). These modules are purchased separately and each requires its own license. Technical information, wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures are not included in this license: Those fall under Jaltest INFO Plus, a separate module you purchase independently with its own license requirement.
