The Ferrari Maserati Key Replacement from CarLabImmo is an OBDII device designed to read and store the key code of an existing, working car key. This device backs up the code, allowing a duplicate key to be used without the original electronics or transponder. The system is specifically developed for selected models of the Ferrari and Maserati brands.
The device operates on a plug-and-play principle via the vehicle's OBDII port, requiring no coding or modifications to the vehicle software. One functioning key is required to copy the code. Once the code is stored in the device, a mechanically duplicated key can start the vehicle, provided the Key Replacement module remains connected to the OBDII port.

This device offers a method for creating a spare key by duplicating the key code directly through the OBDII port.
- Copy key code: Reads and stores the unique code of an existing, functioning car key in internal memory.
- Use spare key: Enables the use of a mechanically cut key without a transponder to start the vehicle.

- Permanent connection: The module must remain in the OBDII port for the duplicated key to function, releasing the immobilizer for that key.
