Autel Powerscan PS100 | Circuit tester
The Autel PowerScan PS100 is a circuit tester for diagnosing electrical systems in vehicles with a 12V or 24V on-board network. The device measures DC voltage in a range of 0-65V and resistance up to 200 KΩ. The results are displayed on a TFT color screen.
This circuit tester can activate components by supplying a positive or negative voltage directly through the test probe. It is equipped with functions such as a continuity test with an acoustic signal, detecting poor ground connections, and locating short circuits. The PS100 features built-in LED lighting, a 6-meter long extension cable, and an internal circuit breaker for overload protection.
Application and functionality:
The PS100 is designed for performing various measurements on electrical circuits of vehicles. The functions are accessible via the menu on the TFT screen.
- Component activation: Supplies power or ground to activate electrical components such as cooling fans and relays.
- Voltage and polarity measurement: Identifies voltage, ground, and polarity of a circuit in one action.
- Continuity test: Checks continuity in cables, fuses, relays, and other components with visual and acoustic indication.
- Ground check: Detects and locates poor ground points.
- Short circuit detection: Traces and locates short circuits without needing to remove fuses.
- Signal circuit testing: Displays sensor values such as minimum and maximum voltage and frequency.

- DC voltage measurement: Measures DC voltage from 0 to 65 volts.
- AC voltage measurement: Displays minimum and maximum voltage, frequency, and duty cycle.

- Acoustic tone: An adjustable tone provides an auditory indication of positive or negative polarity, allowing measurements to be taken without constantly looking at the screen.
