Autool PT520 | Air Pressure Tester
The Autool PT520 is a digital manometer designed for measuring air pressure and differential pressure. The device has a measurement range of -100 to 200 kPa and an accuracy of ±0.3% FS. The PT520 can measure both positive and negative pressure, making it suitable for various diagnostic applications in the automotive sector, such as testing intake manifolds, brake boosters, and crankcases.
The tester supports ten different measurement units, including kPa, psi, mbar, and mmHg, which can be easily selected via the menu. The illuminated LCD screen simultaneously displays the measurements from both inputs (IN1 and IN2) and the calculated differential pressure (ΔP). Features such as saving maximum and minimum values, data logging for up to 29 datasets, and a data hold function allow measurements to be recorded and analyzed later.
Application and functionality:
The Autool PT520 is used for diagnosing pressure systems in vehicles and HVAC installations. The device measures both absolute and differential pressure.
- Differential pressure measurement: Calculates and displays the pressure difference between the two inputs (P1 - P2).
- Select measurement units: Offers a choice of 10 units, including kPa, psi, mbar, inHg, and mmH2O.
- Data storage: Stores up to 29 measurement sets that can be recalled later for analysis.
- Max/Min mode: Records the highest and lowest pressure values measured during a session.
- Data hold function: Locks the current measurement value on the screen for easy reading.
- Zeroing and calibration: A function to set the sensor to zero for accurate measurements.
- Illuminated LCD screen: Ensures clear readability in low-light environments.
- Automatic shutdown: Automatically turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity to save battery.
- Diagnostic tests: Suitable for testing the vacuum of intake manifolds, brake boosters, crankcase ventilation, and exhaust valves.
