The Topdon HD software license provides access to the diagnostic functionalities for heavy vehicles and commercial vehicles for a period of 1 year. This license ensures that your Topdon diagnostic device stays up-to-date with the latest vehicle models and diagnostic protocols, enabling extensive coverage and accurate diagnosis.
With an active license, you benefit from the full functionality of your Topdon HD device, including access to the most recent software updates and technical support. Without an active license, the functionalities of your device may be limited, such as the absence of new vehicle updates, which reduces effectiveness in diagnosing modern vehicles. The activation of the license usually takes 24 to 48 hours after placing the order and happens automatically.

The Topdon HD software license unlocks a range of powerful features essential for the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles.
- Read and clear fault codes: Identifies and removes diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from all accessible vehicle systems.
- Live data display: Monitors real-time sensor values and operating parameters in graphical or numerical display for accurate problem analysis.
- Actuator tests: Performs specific tests on components to check their functioning, such as injectors, EGR valves, or fans.
- Special functions: Provides access to advanced service functions, such as resetting maintenance intervals, regenerating the diesel particulate filter (DPF), and adjusting speed limiters (if supported).

License information:
To activate the license, we need the serial number of your Topdon diagnostic device. Please enter this serial number in the comments field during the checkout process.
- On the device: On a sticker with “SN:” on the back or underside of the unit.
- In the software: Via the settings or the "About" screen within the Topdon software (usually under Configuration/Settings → About device/Version information).
- Packaging box: On a sticker on the original product packaging.
