Diagnostic functions:

The Topdon ArtiDiag HD performs a full system diagnosis for all major electronic control units in the vehicle.

• Read and clear fault codes: Read and remove fault codes from all major vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, and ABS.

Engine and drivetrain:

• Reset oil service: Resets the engine oil maintenance interval and turns off the service light after an oil change.
• Code injectors: Inputs calibration codes of new injectors into the engine control unit (ECU) for precise fuel injection.
• Calibrate clutch: Performs calibration or learning of the clutch, usually for automated transmissions.
• Cylinder deactivation test: Temporarily disables individual cylinders to analyze the performance and contribution of each cylinder.
• Adjust idle speed: Sets or adjusts the engine idle speed for stable operation.

Exhaust systems:

• Diesel particulate filter regeneration (DPF): Initiates forced regeneration of the DPF to remove accumulated soot particles and prevent clogging.
