The Topdon ArtiDiag HD update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the ArtiDiag HD with one year. The kit includes Deutsch adapters with nine and six-pin connectors and a CAT adapter, and the device performs forced diesel particulate filter regeneration, SCR reset and AdBlue system calibration. The ArtiDiag HD is a diagnostic scanner for heavy commercial vehicles, from lorries and buses to construction equipment, and all these functions draw from the same software file which is expanded with every update.
We will send you following your order a renewal card by email, typically within one working day. You enter the code from it into the update menu of the ArtiDiag HD, after which the new period begins. When placing your order, please provide the serial number of the device, as this is mandatory. For this model, an extension primarily concerns the commercial vehicle coverage, as new truck, bus and machinery brands are continuously added.

The ArtiDiag HD software comprises far more than a simple vehicle list. Alongside the vehicle coverage includes the procedure files and the online services that the manufacturer assigns to it. Below you'll find what renewal means for each component.
What a renewal provides
- New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
- Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service reset, injector coding, cylinder deactivation test, speed limiter adjustment and clutch calibration continue to support newer vehicles as manufacturers modify their systems.
- Commercial vehicle coverage: Truck, trailer and machinery models are added as they enter the market.
What happens without renewal
- No updates: New coverage and new procedures no longer reach the device.
- Online functions: Anything the software does not have built-in may stop working afterwards.
- Daily operations: Reading and clearing codes, live data and active tests on known vehicles continue without interruption.

How does it work in practice?
Renewal requires minimal effort from you. Locate the serial number , provide it with your order and then follow these four steps.
- Providing the serial number: Note the serial number of the ArtiDiag HD and provide it with your order.
- Processing: The renewal card arrives by email, typically within one working day of your order.
- Entering the code: Switch on the ArtiDiag HD, navigate to the update menu and enter the code from the renewal card.
- Installation: With the renewal active, new versions are ready; download them over wifi and install them.
